About the Lull Mattress

Does your mattress off-gas harmful chemicals?

The Lull mattress is CertiPUR-US Certified which means that our foams meet rigorous standards for minimizing off-gassing. Our mattresses are made without harmful chemicals such as fermaldahyde, ozone depleters, heavy metals & flame retardants. Each mattress meets the standard of less that 0.5 parts per million VOC (volatile organic compounds).

How long can I leave my mattress in the box after I receive it?

We recommend removing the mattress from the box as soon as you receive it at your doorstep. If you'd like to wait to open your Lull, we recommend it stay in the box no more than 3 weeks.

How can I leave a Review of the Lull mattress?

Whether you're happy or dissatisfied with our mattress we'd like to hear from you. Please leave a review on our website at lull.com/reviews or contact us directly to provide feedback.

How do I clean my Lull mattress?

If you need to clean your mattress, just spot clean the stain using cold water and a gentle detergent. Make sure the cleaned area is completely dry before replacing the cover or placing sheets back on the mattress. Please DO NOT machine wash or dry the mattress cover.

Do I need to flip the Lull mattress?

Nope! The Lull isn't designed to be flipped. If you and your partner have a significant difference between weights or if you sleep on one specific side of the mattress, we do recommend rotating the Lull every 3-6 months.

If I use the Lull mattress on the floor, how should it be maintained?

With all mattresses, there will be a chance of mildew due to the decreased airflow, especially over an organic surface. If you live in a humid climate, we recommend using a bed frame. If you do choose to use it on the floor, we recommend propping up your mattress to refresh airflow.

Can I use the Lull mattress with a heating pad?

Absolutely! Use your mattress however you'd use any other mattress.

Do I need to air out the Lull mattress?

We suggest airing out the mattress for a bit before you sleep on it. The smell comes from foam being packaged and doesn't contain any harmful chemicals. The "new mattress smell" will disappear in a few days.

Are there chemical fire retardants in the Lull?

No. The Lull core is wrapped in a proprietary flame retardant sock made of rayon cellulose fiber, blended with fine-grained sand and a small amount of polyester. This combination of ingredients is inherently fire resistant. If a fire does occur, the sock will melt on itself and suffocate the fire.

What makes up the foam core?

  • Comfort Layer - 1.5” Gel Infused Viscoelastic Memory Foam provides enhanced air flow & draws heat away from your body.
  • Transition Layer - 1.5” proprietary blend of conventional foam with latex like properties for just the right bounce.
  • Support Layer - 7” dense core support made of polyurethane foam. This layer adds strength, durability and structure to the mattress.

What is the mattress cover made of?

Our cover surface is made from Polyester and rayon to provide comfort, stretch and flexibility. Our fire barrier is rayon cellulose fiber blended with fine-grained sand and a small amount of polyester which, in combination, are inherently fire resistant.
