Does the mattress sleep hot like other memory foam mattresses?

The Lull mattress is designed to keep you comfortable all night long. The top layer of the mattress is made of 1.5” gel infused viscoelastic memory foam. This layer provides dramatically enhanced air flow and draws heat away from your body.

How do I get my mattress back in the box?

You don't. We pick it up fully expanded. If you are not completely satisfied with your sleeping experience within the first 365 nights, we will attempt to arrange for a pickup and removal of your Lull mattress in its expanded form. Lull makes every effort possible to donate returned trial mattress to charities and organizations in need of beds. If you are outside our pickup service area, Lull will work with you to find a local donation center, so we can avoid throwing away a perfectly good mattress. Your refund will be processed when a pickup from one of our donation partners has been confirmed, or suitable evidence has been provided regarding disposal of the mattress, in the event a donation facility is not within a reasonable distance.

How does mattress delivery work?

We designed the Lull mattress so that we are able to compress and pack your mattress into a box the size of a mini fridge (21” x 21” x 44”) and ship your mattress free to your doorstep.

Who will deliver my mattress?

We work with premium delivery services like Federal Express (FedEx) to ensure your mattress is delivered right to your front door.

I received an email saying my order has shipped, so why can't I track it on the Shipping Provider's website?

If you received an email saying that your order has shipped, then your order is indeed on its way to your home. It may take up to 24 hours for the Shipping Provider's system to reflect the location of your shipment. Please note your tracking number may appear as "not found" in the Shipping Provider's system during the first 24 hours.

Lull vs. latex foam mattresses

Lull’s mattress includes gel infused memory foam that provides dramatically enhanced air flow and draws heat away from your body to keep you comfortable all night. Our mattresses also include a combination of proprietary conventional foam and polyurethane foam which we believe will relieve pressure from your body more effectively than the typical latex foam mattress. That’s right – no more aches and pains.

What kind of bed frame should I use?

You can use your Lull on any slatted bed frame, box spring or even the floor. We suggest a surface that allows for air ventilation to prevent mold. Lull's Gaviota Platform Bed Frame and Arrellaga Metal Bed Frame are excellent options.

What do you mean by "platform", "slatted", and "slats"?

Platform bed frames feature either horizontal slats or a solid platform for the mattress to rest on. Slatted bed frames are another name for the platform bed frame. They have slats to support the bed -which are the planks that are usually placed horizontally on a slatted bed frame. They're substitutes for a box spring.

Will my Lull mattress work on an adjustable bed frame?

Yes, the Lull mattress should work just as well as any other foam mattress.

What does a Lull mattress smell like?

Some people notice a "new mattress smell" for a few days, but it will disappear over time. Any smells that you notice with your Lull are normal when purchasing products that contain new foam. Our mattresses do not contain any harmful chemicals and all foams used are Certi-PUR certified. We suggest airing out the mattress for a bit before you sleep on it.

Sales tax is collected in certain states as required by law. Some states also charge an additional recycling fee for any order that includes the purchase of a mattress.

Does your mattress off-gas harmful chemicals?

All foams used in the Lull mattress are CertiPUR-US Certified, which means that they meet rigorous standards for minimizing off-gassing. Our mattresses are made without harmful chemicals such as formaldehyde, ozone depleters, heavy metals and certain flame retardants that may cause cancer and genetic defects. All foams meet the standard of less than 0.5 parts per million VOC (volatile organic compounds).

How long can I leave my mattress in the box after I receive it?

We recommend removing the mattress from the box as soon as you receive it at your doorstep. If you'd like to wait to open your Lull, we recommend it stay in the box no more than 3 weeks.

How do I clean my Lull mattress?

If you need to clean your mattress, just spot clean the stain using cold water and a gentle detergent. Make sure the cleaned area is completely dry before replacing the cover or placing sheets back on the mattress. Please DO NOT machine wash or dry the mattress cover.

Do I need to flip the Lull mattress?

Nope! The Lull isn't designed to be flipped. If you and your partner have a significant difference between weights or if you sleep on one specific side of the mattress, we do recommend rotating the Lull every 3-6 months.

Does the Lull transfer movement?

The Lull mattress has more movement isolation than a typical spring mattress, but that doesn't mean it's a stiff mattress. We focused on balancing movement isolation with memory foam. If there's someone more than six inches away from you, you won't feel or hear a thing.

Will the Lull "valley" like my old mattress did?

Nope. Lull mattresses are made with high quality foams designed to last for years. We offer a 10-year warranty so you can rest assured that you’re getting a great mattress.

What's the weight capacity of the mattress?

The Lull mattress was designed to comfortably support two people weighing up to 250 lbs each. Or two people plus a really large dog, each weighing up to 166.666667 lbs. :-)

Adjusting from innerspring to memory foam

If you are switching from a lifetime of sleeping on an innerspring mattress to sleeping on a memory foam mattress, a break-in period where your body adjusts to the new support is common because the materials have not had time to soften and conform to your body. It is recommended to try a memory foam bed for at least 30 days, and why the 100-night trial period is valuable. The old mattress you’ve been sleeping on for years has adjusted to the shape and size of your body as well as your sleeping positions. After years of repeated use, materials compress and no longer adequately support your body. That indentation left by your body may cause sagging, reducing sleep quality. A new pair of shoes often requires a breaking in period. The same principle applies to your new mattress; it may not feel comfortable until the materials have stretched and softened. The break in period allows time for your body to adapt to your new mattress, but also for it to adjust to you. If your old sleeping surface was beginning to break down, your body might have over compensated to make you feel comfortable. A new sleeping surface means your body may have to readjust to the support of your new mattress.

What size pillows do you offer?

We offer two sizes. Our Standard Pillow is 20” x 28” and is recommended for Twin, Twin XL, Full and Queen size mattresses. Our King Pillow is 20” x 36” and is recommended for King and California King size mattresses.

How do I return if I purchased on Amazon?

If you purchased your Lull on Amazon, you have up to 100 days to request your return. Returns for Amazon purchases must be initiated through Amazon directly.

You can begin that process by logging into your Amazon account and submitting the return and refund request on your order. Initially, you will have the option to schedule a UPS pickup. This is only available for mattresses that are still in the box. Also, the amount of return shipping will be deducted from your Amazon refund and you are responsible for printing the shipping label.
